Lubwe Central Church of the Nazarene, founded in 2009, is a growing congregation of 185 members located in Lubwe town—the constituency’s administrative hub and a historic mission station. The church serves as the center for the Chifunabuli Zone, hosting School of Extension classes for pastors and leaders as well as zone conferences.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, government restrictions forced the congregation to stop meeting in the rented classroom they had long used, threatening their ability to minister effectively. In response, the church faithfully purchased land directly across from the government offices and began constructing a permanent sanctuary. The walls now stand, but the building cannot be used until a roof is installed.
Completing this project will provide the church with a visible and permanent place of worship, strengthen its outreach, and allow discipleship and leadership training to flourish. With this building, the congregation will be able to worship freely, host extension classes and conferences without disruption, and expand its witness to the community.
Your support will help put a roof over this church, creating a lasting home for ministry where lives are transformed and the message of holiness continues to spread.
