After getting married in August 2025, Grace and Andrew felt God calling them to Copenhagen, where Andrew is pursuing his MBA at Copenhagen Business School. While Grace originally planned to find work in environmental science, God quickly opened an unexpected door into ministry.
Before she could begin her job search, their pastors shared a message from Global Missions about a management role at Sweet Surrender, a volunteer-run nonprofit café through Greve Church of the Nazarene in Denmark. Though it was a step outside her professional background, Grace sensed God’s leading and responded in faith.
Now serving at Sweet Surrender, Grace is part of a ministry that offers community, hospitality, and hope to people from many nations. The café not only supports local nonprofits through its proceeds, but also creates space for discipleship and community among its volunteers.
Grace and Andrew are thankful for the opportunity to be part of God’s work in Copenhagen and to serve through this unique ministry.
Please keep Grace and Andrew in your prayers, and if you are interested in hearing about what God is doing at Sweet Surrender, please sign up for Grace and Andrew’s newsletter. And of course, if you find yourself in Copenhagen come by the cafe for a quick bite!
