Description:

The vast Eurasia North Field stretches from Latvia in the west through Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova to Russia in the east. The leaders in Eurasia North are passionate about making Christlike Disciples in their field, and the Discipling and Mentoring project is focused on just that.

This project will provide critical support for the Discipleship and Mentoring initiatives on the entire field, discipling believers and raising up a new generation of theologically grounded leaders. The goal reflects what Paul told Timothy about how the church would survive without his direct leadership: “The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2).

The activities included within this project include leadership development events targeted to youth, discipleship leaders, those involved in compassionate ministries, and district leaders. Ongoing discipleship and mentoring groups will help to expand the impact of these events. Support for furthering theological education for emerging leaders is also included.
