The Bible Institute in Rivas, Nicaragua has a great history of training pastors for service. We believe God wants to continue to raise up leaders in Nicaragua. This project will help to make their training and education possible.

This program supports pastoral formation in all four districts in Nicaragua using intensive courses for pastors and leaders to work through the coursework required for ordination. 

It launched in 2020 despite the pressures of the Covid pandemic. The first cohort completed their ministerial studies and are currently pastoring in local churches and districts.

The program is well supported by the districts and has avid participation. Each of the last two courses last semester (in 2023) had 20 students enrolled. The photo above is from the spring 2023 homiletics course.

The goal of this project is to support half of the costs of the program with the districts supporting the other half.
