The Immanuel Church of the Nazarene began construction on a worship facility about seven years ago. Our hope was to finish the building and have it roofed by April or May of 2025. However, after an inspection by the local building authorities, we were advised to stop all work. The foundation of the existing structure was deemed too weak, and we were instructed to remove it entirely and begin again.
In response to this challenge, and with prayerful conviction, our church board made the decision to start a new building from the ground up. We’ve already taken steps forward by purchasing materials: sand, stones, iron rods, and hiring metal workers to begin the foundation preparations.
We believe this new building will be a place of spiritual transformation and ministry impact. Designed to seat over 400 people, it will not only serve as a worship center for our local congregation but also host district and field events, youth camps, national conferences, and training workshops. It will include a multipurpose auditorium, a mini conference hall, and office space for ongoing ministry operations.
We are trusting God to use this building to strengthen the Church in Suhum and beyond. We invite you to join us in this journey. Your gift will help create a space where lives are changed, leaders are equipped, and the gospel is proclaimed for generations to come. Please consider supporting the Immanuel Church of the Nazarene building project.
