The Lahu people, an indigenous group in northern Thailand, live in remote mountain villages like Ho-e Gup Gop, which is often unreachable during the rainy season. For years, various groups tried to connect with this community, but only recently has the Church of the Nazarene built lasting relationships through consistent ministry and compassion.
Today, about 20 believers gather faithfully, but their meetings have outgrown the small home they currently use. The Northern Thailand District has purchased land, and this project will fund the construction of a multi-purpose church building that will serve as a center for worship, discipleship, and community outreach.
With a goal of $4789.00, the new facility will provide space for worship, training, children’s and women’s ministry, and evangelistic events such as quarterly Jesus Film showings. It will also help train future pastors and serve as a safe, welcoming place for the whole community.
Your support will help establish a lasting place of hope for the Lahu people of Ho-e Gup Gop—where lives are transformed, leaders are equipped, and the love of Christ continues to reach those who have never heard.
