The Nazarene School in Rivas, Nicaragua, has been shaping lives since 1956. From the beginning, its mission has been to welcome children from both evangelical and non-evangelical families, teaching Christian values, study habits, and teamwork; all with the ultimate goal of raising Christlike disciples. Known throughout the community for its academic excellence and spiritual impact, the school has a strong reputation for transforming lives.
Reopened in 1995, the school has since served thousands of Nicaraguan boys and girls, pointing them to Christ while equipping them with the education they need to reach their God-given potential.
Today, the school serves about 100 students in preschool and primary school. However, many families in the community face difficult economic realities, and children are sometimes forced to drop out simply because their parents cannot afford the cost.
This project helps reduce those barriers by providing $200 scholarships for 50 students each year. Each scholarship covers:
• Half of the tuition cost
• A full set of uniforms
• Shoes
• Backpack
• Notebooks
With your support, children in Rivas will not only receive a quality education but will also continue learning about Jesus, themselves, and the world at The Nazarene School.
