In the North East District of Peru, the Church of the Nazarene in Moyobamba is making a remarkable impact on its community by serving children with multiple disabilities and infant paralysis. More than 30 families are part of this church, where children who are often marginalized are embraced as blessings from God. These amazing boys and girls are integrated with other children, learning that they, too, have a place to belong.
Currently, the district has a therapy classroom for children with disabilities, but it is still in the early stages of construction. The existing classroom is not ideal, as it lacks proper insulation to protect from the cold winter rains and dust in the warmer months. To provide a better space for these children, we need help completing the construction.
The remaining work includes installing doors, windows, wall and ceiling coverings, floors, lighting, wiring, and building a wheelchair ramp.
Please join us in supporting this incredible church as it continues to reach out to its community and demonstrate that all people deserve a safe place to worship and belong in God's Kingdom.
