The Costa Careyes Project is a bold three-year evangelistic initiative focused on bringing the Gospel to one of the most spiritually underserved regions of Jalisco, Mexico. Along this stretch of Pacific coastline, entire communities have had little or no exposure to the message of Jesus Christ.
Through intentional outreach, home visits, preaching points, and vibrant community-based ministry, local missionary Bernardo Vásquez Martínez is leading an effort to proclaim the Good News, make disciples, and raise up local believers to continue the work. From weekly worship gatherings and Bible studies to youth and children’s evangelism, every activity is designed to reach hearts, change lives, and establish lasting expressions of the Church.
The vision is clear: to see new believers come to Christ, leaders equipped for ministry, and thriving congregations formed in places where the Gospel has never taken root. This is more than a church planting effort—it’s a movement to bring light to the spiritual darkness along the coast of Careyes, and to see entire communities transformed by the hope of Jesus.
