God is doing amazing things in Africa today; we are very excited to be part of it.  We are blessed to work with & teach some of the most wonderful people on this earth.  Yet, there are major challenges that cry out for solutions that only God can provide.  We are honored to be given a chance to be a small part of God’s solution.”

 

Rod - Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs (Academic Dean) of Africa Nazarene University (ANU) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Currently ANU is offering over 30 academic and professional programs and has a student population of around 3000 students.  Rod has engaged in research and publication (find him on Amazon.com!). Most of all Rod loves his God and his family.

 

Sarah – Nazarene Children’s Ministries Coordinator for the Africa East Field (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, & the Horn of Africa).

-encourages effective children’s ministries in our Nazarene churches

-edits children’s Sunday School literature for the Africa Region

-developed a children’s Nazarene membership curriculum entitled, My Church!, for the Africa Region

 

Rod & Sarah have three young adult daughters: Rebecca, Katie, & Hannah.

 

Rod & Sarah met at Olivet Nazarene graduating in 1984. Rod went on to Nazarene Theological Seminary and then to Drew University where he earned a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics.
