Rob and Kolene have served in the Asia Pacific region since 2004, starting their ministry journey in the Philippines. While in the Philippines, they primarily ministered to children and youth, while Rob also attended the Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. Upon graduation from seminary, they then spent eight fulfilling years in South Korea, where they opened several English worship services and provided EFL instruction for adults, children, and youth. Following their time in South Korea, they moved to New Zealand, where they pastored and worked alongside New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Whangarei for seven years. During their time there, they were blessed with the arrival of their son David. Currently, they are serving in Guam, where Rob pastors Guam First Church of the Nazarene.

The Hintz journey in ministry is a continuing testimony of God's grace, provision, and loving-kindness, often revealed through His people in unexpected ways. Each day, they look forward to loving, serving, and being instruments of God's amazing grace.
