God has called us to participate in His work at the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital Station in the highlands of Papua New Guinea (PNG). We have served at Kudjip from 2016-2018 (Daniella was the secondary school teacher), and 2021 to the present (Lukas is working for Nazarene Mission Services).
Lukas is the Director of Corporate Services and Development for Nazarene Mission Services (NMS). He is responsible for NMS’ finances, IT, staff training, and many other roles. NMS supports ministries in Papua New Guinea, including the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, ten Rural Health clinics throughout PNG, the Melanesia Nazarene Bible College, the Melanesia Nazarene Teacher’s College, and other ministries as the need arises.
Daniella is the primary care giver for their three kids and volunteers in a number of different ways as she is able. She is responsible for some of their own kids' schooling, teaches Spanish up at the Missionary Kid middle school and high school, leads the Social Life Team (which tries to create opportunities for missionaries to do life together whether it is celebrating, grieving, meal sign-ups, etc.), helps on the Housing Team, and manages a number of shared spaces on the station. Once Gabriella is in first grade and able to attend the missionary kid school, Daniella will look for other ways to volunteer and serve.
We feel very blessed and excited to join in God’s redemptive work in PNG through supporting the hospital, colleges, clinics, churches, and other ministries.
