Eileen Ruger is from Redondo Beach, California. She has served at Southern Nazarene University as a mission and theology professor from 2013-2019. She also served as a commissioned missionary for the Church of the Nazarene, assigned to the Asia Pacific Region and on the field from January 2004 until 2013 serving as an educator, training pastors and church leaders in her assigned creative access country.

Eileen has a passion for educating women and men to take the Gospel throughout the world.  In November 2019 she joined the faculty at Asia Pacific Nazarene Seminary equipping dedicated learners for cross-cultural ministry.

Eileen graduated from Southern Nazarene University.  She received her master of religious education from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and received her doctorate from the Assembly of God Seminary in applied intercultural studies. She is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
