Serving God in Armenia

Danae grew up in Mount Vernon, Ohio and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at family prayer time when she was young. Her immediate and extended family have played an instrumental part in fostering her faith.

Childrens’ Ministries have always held a special place in Danae's heart. She loves to help children grow in their faith and started volunteering in Childrens’ Ministries as soon as she was too old to participate in the ministries herself. Serving others has helped her deepen her relationship with God.

Danae has always felt a deep connection to missions, however never truly felt called to missions until after college. When God first called her to global missions, she had never even traveled on a plane before, let alone out of the country. She was so excited about her calling to missions she decided to go on her church’s next Work and Witness trip no matter where in the world they would travel. In early 2019, she served with the North Central Ohio district in Nairobi, Kenya, and in early 2020 in Muelle, Costa Rica. God deepened her love for missions through Work and Witness.

In Autumn of 2021, she began as a student at Nazarene Theological Seminary. She is very thankful for NTS and how they are continuing to shape her to serve God faithfully.

She is humbled to be able to serve God in Armenia volunteering in Vacation Bible School, serving with the leadership there.

Thank you for praying for Danae as she follows God’s calling on her life!
