Rev. Nilberto and Rev. Cassia Borges serve with the Church of the Nazarene together with their son, Samir. Nilberto has a bachelor's degree in theology/missiology from the Latin MTC of WEC Missions, and he has also studied gastronomy. Cássia has a bachelor's degree in Theology from the North Mineiro Baptist Seminary and a specialization in missiology from the Latin MTC of WEC missions. She is also a pedagogue with a specialization in literacy. Both have completed the course of study with the Church of the Nazarene at the Nazarene Theological Seminary of Brazil.

In 2005, they started working in the city of Montes Claros, MG, Nilberto as head chef and Cassia as educational supervisor. Nilberto worked in the local church, taught at the Nazarene Seminary, and led Sunday School and Compassionate Ministries. Cassia worked with NMI and MAM. In 2008 - 2009, they also helped with some missionary projects using their professions and talents to advance the kingdom of God.

In 2021 they arrived in Paraguay with the challenge of restoring the church in the Don Bosco neighborhood. With God's grace they have been able to recover the property and started distributing lunch to needy children in the neighborhood. Today they are working with a congregation in Campesino, where they teach English and Bible School. God has been faithful. Thanks to your support and prayers, they are moving forward with the help of Jesus.

 O Rev. Nilberto e a Rev. Cássia Borges servem na Igreja do Nazareno junto com seu filho, Samir. Nilberto é bacharel em teologia/missiologia, pela MTC Latino da WEC Missões, e também estudou gastronomia. Cássia, é bacharel em Teologia pelo Seminário Batista do Norte Mineiro e com especialização em missiologia pelo Latin MTC da WEC missões. Ela também é pedagoga com especialização em alfabetização. Ambos concluíram o curso de estudos com a Igreja do Nazareno no Seminário Teológico Nazareno do Brasil.

Em 2005, começaram a trabalhar na cidade de Montes Claros, MG, Nilberto como chefe de cozinha e Cássia como supervisora educacional. Nilberto trabalhou na igreja local, ensinou no Seminário Nazareno e liderou a Escola Dominical e o Ministério de Compaixão. Cassia trabalhou com MNI e MAM. Em 2008 - 2009, eles também ajudaram em alguns projetos missionários usando suas profissões e talentos para o avanço do reino de Deus.

Em 2021 chegaram ao Paraguai com o desafio de restaurar a igreja do bairro Dom Bosco. Com a graça de Deus conseguiram recuperar o imóvel e começaram a distribuir merenda para crianças carentes do bairro. Hoje eles estão trabalhando com uma congregação em Campesino, onde ensinam inglês e escola bíblica. Deus tem sido fiel. Graças ao seu apoio e orações, eles estão avançando com a ajuda de Jesus.
