The Peru Loreto District covers the largest geographical area of the districts in Peru. The main transportation in this area is via the large rivers, including the Amazon, Ucayali and Nanay Rivers, as well as the thousands of connecting streams.

Reaching this area is a challenge. To reach the Loreto region, it is necessary to travel either by plane from the city of Lima, or travel weeks via river boats. There is little access to technology, so trainings must be held in person.

Yet God’s Kingdom is growing in this place! Pastors and lay leaders have a passion to serve and God is continuing to bring transformation.

This project is to provide for the travel costs and materials to train pastors and zone leaders in this area. It would allow district leaders to offer theological education as well as material resources, such as books, guides, and self-study material. Leaders are inviting those excited about seeing the church grow in even the most remote areas to join them in this important work. The total annual need for this project is just over $9,000 USD.
