During the pandemic the Rwandan Government made some decisions to mandate group gathering places be built to certain standards. These changes greatly affected some of the churches in that area that were not built up to these specific building codes. One of these churches is the Kabaya Church, and it was closed. The building they were meeting in was not up to these new building codes.
In the same neighborhood the church congregation was able to find a building that had originally belonged to another denomination, but they were selling the building and land. The main structure is well built, and it is their intention to purchase the land and make the necessary modifications to meet the governmental building standards.
The district and the local church will cover the renovations required to bring up it to codes. They are asking for support in purchasing the land and the building, will you please consider joining them in this purchase?
