Rural Health Services works within Nazarene Health Ministries in Papua New Guinea to bring critical health service provision, health promotion, and health power and advocacy efforts in order to share Christ-like compassionate ministry and expand the Church in rural areas of PNG.
RHS currently oversees seven health centers that provide maternity & antenatal care, pediatric wellness / immunization, and acute medical-surgical care while partnering with local churches or pioneering areas to proclaim the Gospel.
The Rural Health Services Greatest Need Fund provides for unexpected needs beyond the operational budget of the centers for things like supply acquisition, medical evacuation, or unanticipated facility maintenance. The Fund has also been used to tap opportunistic ministry expansion for things like purchasing a solar-powered vaccine refrigerator in 2021 and to provide much-needed training for rural health center staff in 2022. Thank you for your contribution toward providing Christ-like care and health ministry to the rural areas of Papua New Guinea.
