Carlos y Amantina De La Cruz, se unieron en matrimonio el día 6 de noviembre del año 1982, un año y tres meses después fueron llamados al ministerio pastoral en la Ciudad de Barahona al sur de República Dominicana, su país natal.

Tienen una familia a quien consideran su mayor riqueza en esta tierra. El nombre de sus hijos son: Carlos Ezequiel De La Cruz, quien es pastor a tiempo completo. Gerson De La Cruz, ingeniero en sistemas. Josué De La Cruz, Pastor y coordinador de ministerio hispano en un distrito en el estado de Ohio y Scarlin De La Cruz, graduada de Olivet y quien trabaja en el Centro de Ministerios en Cactus. A ellos se agregan sus tres nueras y cinco nietos de quiénes están muy orgullosos.

Carlos y Amantina han servido en la Iglesia del Nazareno como pastores por 36 años y más de 20 de ellos como superintendente de Distrito, tanto en la República Dominicana como en Panamá. Les apasiona trabajar con líderes para formar discípulos semejantes a Cristo. Aceptaron el reto de ser Coordinadores de Estrategia de área en Meso Central, Región Mesoamérica, la cual incluye Panamá, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Cuba, República Dominicana y Puerto Rico.

Carlos and Amantina De La Cruz got married on November 6, 1982, and a year and three months later they were called to the pastoral ministry in Barahona, a city located in the south of the Dominican Republic, their native country.

They consider their family their greatest treasure on earth. Their children are: Carlos Ezequiel De La Cruz, a full-time pastor; Gerson De La Cruz, systems engineer; Josue De La Cruz, pastor and coordinator of Hispanic ministries in a district in Ohio; and Scarlin De La Cruz, graduated from Olivet University and who is working at Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center. They also include in that list their three daughters-in-law and five grandchildren, of whom they are very proud.

Carlos and Amantina have served in the Church of the Nazarene as pastors for 36 years and more than 20 of them as District Superintendents, both in the Dominican Republic and Panama. They are passionate about working with leaders to make Christlike disciples. They have accepted the challenge of being Field Strategy Coordinators in the Central Field, Mesoamerica Region, which includes Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
