Third generation cattle farmers from southern Missouri, Josh and Erin Allen felt led by the Lord to surrender that dream, and pursue God’s call to serve the nations in whatever capacity He chose for them. This ultimately led them to Papua New Guinea, where they serve with other missionary teams from the Nazarene Hospital in Kudjip.
Josh and Erin have three children, Millie, Harley, and Marcie. Their home church is Highway Nazarene in Ava, MO where Josh served as the young adult pastor for 3 years. Josh’s role at Kudjip is assisting short-term mission teams as they complete various projects on the island. He also helps with discipleship training for the Nazarene Nursing College students, and various maintenance needs across the station. Erin assists in duties at the school for MK’s, and cares for their children at home.
The Allen’s are honored to be chosen for this opportunity in Papua New Guinea, and are excited to see all that God has in store for them there. They are always striving to be available and obedient to all that God asks of them. They want nothing, but to bring glory to His name in all they say and do. The Allen’s would love to have your support as they journey through this new chapter that God has blessed them with!
