Melody Jotiz graduated from Central Philippine University in Iloilo City with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. From 2008 to 2015, she grew up as a missionary kid in Cambodia, where her family served with the Church of the Nazarene. In 2015, her family returned to the Philippines and settled in Taytay, Rizal, where she and her family served in Taytay First Church of the Nazarene, living there until she moved back to Iloilo in 2022 to complete her university studies.
In the Church of the Nazarene, Melody served as a worship leader beginning in 2015, first at Taytay First Church of the Nazarene and later at Molo Church of the Nazarene, her home church. She also had the honor of leading worship in major Nazarene gatherings, including the Nazarene General Assembly 2023 and the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference 2025. During her university years, she also served as a worship leader on campus.
Now a missions intern, Melody is currently serving alongside her parents, Arnel and Christine Jotiz, in Cambodia. She assists them in the mission field with a special focus on media and communication, as well as teaching English to children and youth, helping strengthen community engagement and discipleship efforts. She is the eldest of two siblings and has a younger brother, JJ, who is currently in college pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management.
Please pray with her as she serves in Cambodia, learning, growing, and sharing Christ’s love with the communities around her, and as she continues to discern and follow where God leads.
