Serving In

As a family, we strive to be Christ-like by living a life that reflects the inclusive love and grace of God in a practical way.

We are the Twal family, Annabelle, Shahade, Yara, Miah and Lina. Shahade is originally from Jordan, and Annabelle is from Switzerland. We met in Germany while Shahade was studying at the EUNC. In 2009 we got married, and we served at the local Nazarene Church and EUNC while working at a local company.

After the birth of our second daughter, we felt God's call on our lives to serve as missionaries in Jerusalem. We served there for eight years. Shahade pastored the Local Church and was involved in outreach ministry, compassionate ministry, district, and leadership development. Annabelle served as the Worship Director, Children's ministry director, and we both helped coordinate the district finances. Together we started a ministry to the local Arab community teaching English and German as a second language while we renovated the church building and the pastor's apartment. Working with the global church and Work and Witness teams was a blessing over the years.

Currently, we serve as Global Missionaries at the Eurasia Regional Office in Germany. Shahade serves as project manager for different building projects in the region. Coming from different cultural backgrounds and our time as missionaries in Israel helps us with our work, giving us insights as we support the church's mission in the Eurasia Region.
